He began his career on the Rochdale Observer, becoming Chief Reporter at the Harrogate Advertiser before moving to the world of public sector communications.
An experienced and versatile writer, he now works both as a freelance journalist and PR, specialising in features on comic books and science-fiction but also travel and literature. He has written for SFX, Comic Heroes, 2000 AD and The Judge Dredd Megazine.
Mike has interviewed some of the biggest names in the comic book industry such as Alan Moore, Dave Gibbons, Pat Mills, Carlos Ezquerra, Bryan Hitch, Warren Ellis and Mick McMahon.
He is also editor and designer of THE END IS NIGH, the official magazine of the apocalypse, of which issue four is out now.
